Now let’s have a serious discussion on how to gut the class to require skill again.

I will go first and say revert PU changes and remove the insta 1200 range stun. Start there and nerf until the brainded play of the class is gone.

This has been covered a gazilion times. Why create another topic? It’s not needed, and you know it. I’m sorry you are sore about thieves not getting to instant kill mesmers anymore. However, this does not mean there is a reason to cuss up a storm about it. Instead of trying to get attention with a new topic, post under one of the many others that are already up. Sorry to sound harsh, but both of the changes you have made have already been posted. There is no need to reinvent the wheel.

Please go back through the forum and show at least 5 examples (threads) where people complained “hardcore” and asked for buffs to the class.

Pre patch Mesmers asked for

• A: Either DE or IP to be made baseline (or some relative fix to the inability to trait outside of 4 in Dueling and 6 in Illusions, locking up all build variety).
• B: An improvement to CS which coincides with-
• C: Appropriate changes to the horrible, aweful GM traits we were given
  and
• D: Consume Plasma to be nerfed.

oh, and more than anything bug fixes bug fixes bug fixes.

Sounds like a thief who is upset that the free-kill mesmer is not a free kill anymore and he has to actually think before engaging.
