Looking for a WvW Boonshare build
I’m not sure people are running boonshare with mesmer cause of classes like herald. But this is what I run:
This is what I’m working on atm. If you are looking for a Signet of Inspiration build most will tell you it’s not worth it with all the free aoe boons provided by everyone else (rev) without having to build around it.
I instead tried finding boons/buffs/debuff that arnt is large abundance (superspeed/resistance/quickness/slow/and so on). As you can imagine, I really love tw ;-)
My play is 5-20. Any less and it’s not as effective, anymore and it’s un-noticeable.
For boonshare mesmer, you just throw signet of inspiration onto literally any build and you’re done. The boonshare strength doesn’t come from mesmer itself exactly, you need the proper team comp to put the boons on the mesmer to be shared. Mesmer is just an enabling factor, not a one stop shop for boon sharing.
I run realy effective boonshare build that provides something like 90% uptime on quickness, provided that i dont kitten up. Guild seems pretty satisfied with it.
Boonsharing with only “normal boons” is useless. Have an f2 rev up at all time. Quickness stacks up to 9 times. Time your boonshare with whole party for aditional benefit. Best of luck, maby someone will share a build, though many treads have been made without results.
Runes can be changed for chronomancer runes for more quickness uptime. But with coordinated groups (and those that tend to run more durablity runes groupwide) Its more resistance to share.
Use your interrupts (Staff 5, Shield 5, F3, Gravity Well) Wiselly. Combine that with the boon rip sigil and boon share.
If you dont have problems staying alive, chance the accessories around to be more group damage oriented and less tanky.

Why no superspeed glamors?
Because of the limit on how many people an AoE can affect.
Once you start getting into zerg busting and dropping aoes on your frontline or self bombimg, the superspeed is going to make a few members of your team move faster and away from the safety of the ball. That in turn makes them easy pickings.

Be hard pressed to have people give them to ya since boon share mesmers are generally ran by gvg guilds.

I always laugh at all the silly “secret builds” the GvG guilds claim to run. There’s nothing special about any of the builds they run. Anyone with a good head on their shoulders and experience with the class can figure out the builds any guild is running based on the role they play. There’s really very few optimal ways to do things, making it easy to determine how things are done.

Herald doesn’t boonshare like mesmer can. Mesmer takes the boons that herald and ele provide and doubles/quadruples them.

You mean after a random guardian pops a buff to max the stacks anyway? Unless there’s like 3-4 people in the group and all of them thieves I just can’t see this being useful, especially not in a larger group where just inherent class powers will max out buffs without even trying.

You mean after a random guardian pops a buff to max the stacks anyway? Unless there’s like 3-4 people in the group and all of them thieves I just can’t see this being useful, especially not in a larger group where just inherent class powers will max out buffs without even trying.
Because with proper composition, you can stack LONG duration of important boons like protection and quickness.
It is easy to spam a lot of random boons. But to get maximized boons and duration you want a boon share mesmer.
But of course, this only works with proper composition and coordination
