Does anyone know of a good Pure Staff build for mesmers? Looking for something with survivability with Illusions being the main dmg dealer for the build.
Mostly want to be able to distract them as much as possible while keeping dmg on them and taking little to no dmg at all.

Do you play sPvP, WvW or PvE?

For PvE you can go 0/20/25/0/25, full rabid gear with runes of undead. Basic strategy is to run in circles and spam Phase Retreat. Played properly you can solo most champions and support teammates in dungeons with might+fury+chaos storm+signet. The main problem is you kill things slowly, and you also lack AoE (0/20/20/0/30 helps with AoE a bit but you lose condition damage, survivability and boon duration)

I do 100% pvp wvw

For WvW I’d recommend something similar to the build in my signature 20/20/30/0/0 gives you access to lots of stealth, which is in line with confusing and distracting people like you want to do. You stay in staff the majority of the time, and use sword/torch as more of a utility pivot for when you need immobilize, stealth, or a condition cleanse. Others have had success with scepter instead of sword, and a lot of it comes down to playstyle, but I find sword to be more helpful in 1vx fights since it offers invulnerability and a 600 range teleport. If this is the sort of thing you’re looking for, I’d be happy to elaborate more on the playstyle.
