I looked at my maim of the disillusioned trait earlier today and it says base damage is around 550. If moving, the damage is around 1k. However, when I tested this on the spvp class NPC, i never got anywhere near 1k dmg for torment.

At some points, I would have 10 stacks of torment but it still only hit for 3-500 even when they were moving. Is the description just wrong, or is it just doing it as two separate attacks like 500, 500 (if they move). Or should I be seeing torment: 1000, when they are moving?

Hmmm. Any ideas?

Generally condition tooltips will display the total amount of damage the condition will do over its full duration.

I highly recommend you visit the wiki and take a look at how to calculate the damage of conditions to get a better idea for yourself what damage you’ll be doing.

Thanks. I went and looked at them, but now am a little confused on stacking. Is there a big difference in stacking intensity vs duration? I think I understand duration more, but intensity doesn’t make much sense from the wiki.

Lets say I put three stacks of torment on someone, then I use another skill that puts 4 stacks. Does that mean it will be ten stacks, and will just basically do more damage, with the higher the stack?

For conditions that stack, like bleed, torment, and confusion, the damage is calculated per-stack.
If you put 3 stacks of torment on someone, then 4 stacks, they’ll have 7 stacks: 3 with the original duration, 4 with the new duration.

From the wiki:
“10 seconds of bleeding are applied to a target. 1 second later, another 6 seconds of bleeding are applied to the same target by a second source. For 6 seconds, the target will take damage over time from both stacks of bleeding. After that, the second bleed effect will expire, and for 3 seconds the target will continue to suffer the bleeding from the first effect, which then expires.”

For conditions that stack in duration, like Burn or Poison, the new duration is simply added on after the first.

From the wiki:
“10 seconds of regeneration are applied to a target from a level 80 player with 1500 Healing Power. 5 seconds later, 10 seconds of regeneration are applied to the same target from a level 80 player with 2000 Healing Power. The target will experience 317.5 health per second for the first 5 seconds, then 380 health per second for the next 10 seconds, then 317.5 health per second for the next 5 seconds.”
