Soooo, it isn’t working? Would not surprise me, Anet are fairly bad at implementing attack speed increases at least for mesmer (phantasmal haste lol).

I tried it out a bit and wasn’t sure either if I noticed a difference. The added attack on #3 makes it harder since you’re not used to it going off as fast and ticking as fast, but obviously it’s not worthy of a GM if you can’t really tell the difference. (So I’m guessing you’re probably right that it’s broken.)
I totally agree with Crion, it’s really an insult that we should invest in a GM skill just to fix the broken mechanics of the Scepter. (And now the fix to the broken mechanic appears to be broken! Irony kills.)
I tried it out as well, can’t see any difference in the attack speed. So either its working but its so insignificant that its barely noticable, or its bugged and not working. Either way its not a grand master worthy trait.
Compare it to Imagined Burden, the greatsword grand master trait. 2 stacks of might when player and illusions uses spatial surge, AND cripple on ALL greatsword skills. Plus a cooldown reduction.
Scepter gets an attack speed buff that should be baseline and a cooldown reduction. At best this is a master trait or it needs a serious buff to make it worthy of grand master. How about all scepter skills inflict 1 stack of confusion? Or increase condition duration? Or something.

Agreed, but they clearly won’t give us more conditions after butchering MtD in the fastest Knee Jerk nerf since the old Power Block.
I don’t notice any difference in attack speed (looks exactly the same to me), but the cooldown reduction seems to work as intended. Skill #2 and #3 cd’s went down from 8 and 12 seconds => to 6 and 9 seconds after i selected the trait.
Can confirm, attack speed portion of the trait is not functional.
I was so enamored with the confusing images change, the new scepter AA chain adjustment had me fooled this was working. Thanks for those who tested. I can’t justify taking the trait merely for the CD reductions.

Nah I tried it out yesterday, still sucks. Mainly cause 900 range, I didnt see that the speed on it was bugged, hopefully they can fix it so that will make it at least a little better.
