A build using all traits with “Master” in them, thus “Master Mesmer”… or “Mesmer Mastery”? “Master of Mesmer”?
Anyway, that’s not important. For the most part, it’s a Glass Cannon of sorts. And yeah, I know it isn’t the greatest[or remotely mediocre] build in the world, but I just thought the concept might be interesting to make.

Traits:
-Signet Mastery: -20% Signet CD
-Protected Mantras/Phantasmal Fury: +400 Toughness while channeling mantras/Fury to Phantasms
-Mantra Mastery: -20% Mantra CD
-Master of Manipulation: -20% Manipulation CD
-Glamour Mastery: -20% Glamour CD
-Master of Misdirection: 33% confusion duration
-Masterful Reflection: Distortion=Reflection

Utility:
-Mantra of Recovery
-Arcane Thievery
-Feedback
-Signet of Inspiration
-Mass Invisibility/Time Warp

Weapons:
-Staff: [Rampager] Superior Sigil of Torment
-Scepter+Focus: [Rampager+Rampager] Superior Sigil of Nullification+Purity

Buffs:
-Bowl of Fancy Potato and Leek Soup
-Potent Master Maintenance Oil

Armor:
-Full Rampager
-5 Superior Runes of Mesmer
-1 Superior Rune of Lyssa

Is this a challenge to find a build that’ll go down the fastest with little impact?

9.5/10 for theme.

10/10 for design to fit the theme.

1/10 for good idea.

Why rampager everywhere out of curiosity? I can understand the staff (Mes staff to me is a brilliant rampager weapon with 15 in duelling) but your armour and trinkets? 79% crit and 20% crit damage seems more than a little skewed to my mind. Plus pretty much rock bottom vitality and (most importantly) toughness.

Full rampager strikes me not as a glass cannon, but more as a glass .22 rifle…

Pretty much what the others said.

• If you go full rampager, get Dueling 15 and Dueling X and run with GS or Sword/x. Valid bleed build, which still deals less damage than zerker. Does really bad on structures and mediocre in groups (bleed cap).
• Protected Mantras is pretty useless.
• SignetMastery is nothing for Mesmers

You should call this build the “Jack of no trades and master of all”.

Seeing your trait spread, it reminds me of the notorious 14/14/14/14/14 build and should have approximately the same efficiency. :P

It is like there is a random build generator and this build was a product of it.

I love the word master. Let’s make my mesmer a master and use all the traits with the word master.
I love seeing green numbers on my utility skills CD’s in the build generation. We have 1 signet trait, 1 glamour trait, 2 mantras traits, 1 manipulation trait and 2 random traits, so lets take 1 signet, 1 mantra, 1 manipulation and feedback.
I also enjoy crits hits, lets put 80% of precision.
I have 1016 of toughness and vitality, it wouldn’t be fancy to have less of 1000 of condi damage.

Yeah, with this build I’m a ba_da_ss (Stupid word kitten in this forum)…. XD
