Hey all, what would you think of MoF not only improving shatter skills but also make the IP-element of our F1-F3 a blast combo finisher?
It would mean that we’d have 3 more blasts on demand if traited for Master of Fragmentation.

Only the shatter around you! Not your clones’ shatter!

Could you see it balanced? Would it be to strong for a single trait? Would you even take it? How would you make use of it? Wasting shatters for blasting?

Sounds cool, yeah that would be great. Trait for chaos armor share, which is pretty rare since Mesmer has 95% of the ethereal fields.

Hmmm, sounds good in my head. However, you could potentially have insane upkeeps of armors with being able to blast fields with F1-F3. Take into account Alacrity as well. I guess speccing to be really supporting should be a thing, but idk.

We aren’t the only class with little access to blasters, and I don’t think that’s exactly a horrible thing. I just wish we had a dependable blaster other than one that procs 3 seconds after activating. I would be happy with GS3 being one and that’s it.

hm… I could see a possible exploit by using galmours and shattering often, so you can upkeep Chaos Armor 24/7 and use the awesome staff trait. Might be too strong… Even if it was just Mind Wrack providing a blast finisher…

That being said… I wouldn’t complain if they did something along those lines

Maybe only on Mind Wrack or Cry of Frustration… still possibly too strong, but not OP like having it on F1-F3.

I don’t think it would be half as awesome as you think. You’d usually be getting pot luck as to what you blast and it’s not exactly something you’d be doing in dungeons.

Blasting is awesome and all but you wouldn’t want to use your shatters for it a lot of the time and I feel they could improve shatters in other ways which would be far more beneficial.
