I noticed a similiar thing with the healing signet – I always have to press the phantasm after the signet multiple times. I just tought I’m going nuts so this may be the reason!? I’ll test this traited and untraited immediately …
Edit: Confirmed as a bug – If I untrait the inspiration line I get not interrupted and can cast a 2nd phantasm immediately. Power Cleanse prevent’s me from casting anything until you hear the “CLEANSE” sound :/. Another reason not to take the signet >_> …

This explains why I’ve been having issues with my normal focus combo. I’ll usually drop #4, start casting the Warden, then hit #4 again just before it goes off to yank the targets together as soon as the Warden spawns and I’ve been having issues getting the timing off like I normally do.
The same thing goes for weapon swaps sometimes. I keep thinking I’ve swapped weapons only to have it not trigger, likely because I was trying to do it right after summoning a phantasm.
I think the problem is more general – I’ve been experiencing that any trait that casts a skill – Signet of Inspiration, Mender’s Purity, etc. seems to resets your skill “queue” so you have to spam your desired follow up skill to get it off in time.
I’m experiencing this with all manner of things. Illusionary Inspiration is super clunky because of this.
2nd activation of mantra heal doesn’t activate menders purity.
Illusionary inspiration also causes the game to ignore skill inputs while the inspiration is being cast (after summoning a phantasm). Needs fixing asap.

- not the 2nd actiavtion, it’s the last charge. If you got 3 charges, it’s simply the last one – just to clarify
- it seems some skills cancel the skill queue, noticed it somehow with a trait on my engi too once – i still try to figure out wich trait it was…

I think this happens with any trait that “casts skill X after action Y”. Lets say you press 1, 2 and 3. 2 is the Skill that will activate skill X with a trait, so what input you give in that moment is:
→ 1 – 2 – 3
but what the game does is this:
→ 1 – 2 | X (cuts off the rest)
Pretty annoying…

I am guessing that is because menders ‘cast’ a spell to cure condi rather than just have condi cured as the effect of the heal.

The spell that it’s supposed to cast is an instant mantra though, so if it was literally coded as ‘cast power cleanse on successful completion of healing’, the issues people are having wouldn’t exist. Something else a bit less obvious is occurring, and it’s unlikely we’ll be able to figure out what coding screwup they made just from testing it.
It’s still worth testing to figure out the extent of the bugs and interactions, I’m just saying it’s probably not worth trying to imagine exactly how they pulled this one off.
