25 in illusions lets me have faster recharging phantasms so they hit more frequently, and IC so if they die I don’t have to wait so much on cooldowns.

Recharge does not make them hit faster, haste makes them hit faster, recharge is the amount of time YOU can summon that phant again.

PvP or not, still a dumb change. Dodging synchronizes with the vigor provided in the dueling line. Additionally, loading almost every single trait necessary for shatters into the same traitline is an unbelievably poor balance choice.

To me, the dueling trait line is fine. If there’s anything that needs change, it would be Shattered Conditions and Phantasmal Haste should swap places: Shattered Conditions in Illusions and Phantasmal Haste in Inspiration.
Shattered conditions should just be moved down to the 20pt in inspiration. It is a good trait but you lose so much taking it.

It is a glorious trait, and I honestly don’t understand why it is that there are so many shatter traits in inspiration and some traits in illusions literally just don’t benefit shatter so, it’s weird. Shattered conditions is a strong one though, the healing shatter trait is weird also, it isn’t strong enough to be there, maybe they should be combined or get rid of healing shatters and get a new none shatter grandmaster inspiration trait line.

Another thing…… Why is there so many Condi traits in illusions? I mean, if you are using illusions you are going to be using dueling more than likely sword also, so that scepter trait is out of place, no complaint though. Am complaining about shatter traits in inspiration.

The moving of the trait into illusions gives you 20 points to play with. you can go into insp and grant vigor on shatter to team mates (necros), keep 10 in dueling for vigor and sword reduction, go 5 in dueling and pump the rest into more defensive trees for condi removal on heal or go for prot on rejuv.
As a mesmer you need Deceptive Evasion, Shatters remve boons and Illusionary Persona. I’m simply reorganising it so we dont need to trait 3 trees for this. Why is this a bad idea? It gives you a lot more flexibility as mesmers are using the exact same build for a whole year now because we are FORCED to take these traits and the meta is running away from us. We need the change but I dont want to create an OP monster.

I would have to go and see how I would redesign my build if this was changed. Befor I can say if I wold be for this or not.
For me, it might be a good change. I have a problem with the duelsist trait line because theres just so many traits that would work for me, yet I can only choose 3. Then other trait lines I have to spend 20-30 to get 1 trait that I want and strugle to find any thing of value among the left overs.
