Mesmer Cool Down and Traits concern.
okay, it’d be helpful if you were maybe telling us what cooldown you’re referring to.
illusionary berserker? that’s a greatsword skill, not technically a phantasm. phantasm skills(again, technically) go in the utility bar.
As true as Odin’s spear flies,
There is nowhere to hide.

@Lightsbane: Incorrect, I.Berserker is a Phantasm skill/Illusion skill.
@Zeah: I believe the combination of the two skills does decrease the CD properly, just the tooltip only shows the 20% CD reduction. Its a noted bug. Further, the two traits for improving Phantasm damage do stack.

Great Sword Training reduces the cool down of great sword skills, which means you can summon the Illusionary berserker faster. Illusion Celerity makes summoning skills recharge faster. Both of these skills alone reduce the summoning skill cool down on illusionary berserker, but together only one seems to be in effect, so they don’t stack. On a mesmer using a great sword with none of these trait skills, the cool down is 20 seconds to be able to reuse and resummon an illusionary berserker. With just one of the skills the cool down is reduced to 16 seconds (20% as the skills claim). And with both the two, the cool down should be 12 seconds, but it is not 12 seconds its only 16. The trait skills for summoning the illusionary berserker don’t seem to stack.
I am aware that great sword training states that it reduces the recharge of great sword skills by 20%. Summoning the illusionary berserker is a great sword skill so the cool down for that skill should be reduced, and it is, but if you combine the great sword training skill trait with Illusion Celerity, which states that illusion summoning skills recharge 20% faster, there should be a total 40% faster skill recharge for the illusionary berserker. This doesn’t seem to work and my question is, are they supposed to stack or not?
This happens with every weapon cooldown reduction trait that also doubles as an illusion summon for every single weapon.
It’s a tooltip issue I think and feel free to post it in the game bug area but I believe it was posted several times now.

with both traits, the cooldown on berserker IS 12 seconds
Yeah its 12 seconds… I run a very GS heavy build.. And its 12 seconds… DUELIST DISCIPLINE on the other hand… is just annoying.
Yeah, it’s a tooltip issue. Tooltips seem to only update once. Hence if you have two things changing the same value, only one will show up.
