Well since we’re a niche utilitybot now for the most part, we might as well focus on the one thing we do better than any other class, and thats looking really kittening awesome and pretty!

So mesmer community I must ask for you advice on fashion for my lovely Asuran Mesmer. I have two theme ideas in mind, and both are really out of reach at the moment for several reasons, but I thought I’d get some opinions.

Theme 1: SAB Theme!
For this theme I wanted to use matching colored SAB weapons+backpiece+Asura T3 chestpiece, so that all the glowy techno stuff is the same color. It worked out well for the most part, but I had a few issues. First of all, since the SAB is a seasonal thing for now, I was only able to get green trib mode skins for staff scepter and torch (and I don’t run condition mesmer anymore really) and I missed it the first time so I can’t get the blue back piece and match it with blue weapons from the TP. I wish I had gotten more green trib mode skins but time contraints prevented me.

Theme 2: Super mesmeric and really wealthy theme
This isn’t really a theme so much as a pipe dream. Basically mesmers with the chaos of lyssa backpiece and several legendaries including but not limited to the minstrel, bolt, and quip. After making howler for my necro (the other main character I play generally) I’m kind of burnt out on the prospect of farming gold/making money.

Theme 3: Ley Line Theme
Basically buy a ton of ley line weapons and be all blue. Expensive but pretty cool.

Anyway what fashion advice can you guys give me, and what sort of weapon skins or armor skins should I be working towards? Should I invest in another legendary so I have one for each of the main classes I play? Would a legendary clash with an SAB theme if I went for that when the SAB returns?

I’m also posting a picture of my little mesmer to aid the advising process. (I’ve been using the fractal GS in lieu of the green SAB GS )

I’m using the Mist weapon set on my little asura mesmer. It’s pretty cute and quite visible on her.

I would vote for Leyline theme if you can farm the ticket. They have an awesome sound effect. Otherwise I would stick to the SAB one.

OMG the second picture is absolutely breathtaking….

This decision is stressing me out :/

And yeah Iris, I probably would prefer to wait for the SAB, but I have no idea when they’d re-release it back into the game.

First off, go to your bank and access the wardrobe. There you can preview all available skins, even ones you don’t have. This way you can see if you like the look before dumping all the cash into it.

I have a Charrmer and was just this morning working on a new look, focusing on the new ley line weapons and the glowy skins. I only have radiant gloves and nowhere close to the others so was trying some others. Here’s some ideas:

Zephyrite wind helm and back piece
Ascalonian weapons glow blue at night
Cobalt GS has blue flames
Heavenly hand guards are glowy and can be tinted blue (HoM unlock)
Ice lords diadem is blue (HoM)
Holographic dragon wings
Scepter of the highborn has a blue glowy effect

Don’t know what other weapons you are looking at so can’t make a lot of recommendations.
