I would like ask the community if they have had any mesmer tank with PTV gear with the addition of a greatsword that could take multiple people in wvw.
I was planning to use soldier runes for the Power+Vitality.
Destroyer Sentinel Greatsword.
Any reccomended help?

Greatsword is a more offensive weapon so I’m not sure what kind of tanking setup you are looking for. If you are using a staff as your secondary weapon set, I suppose you can tank ok. It isn’t just about toughness and vital to make a tank setup. Usually you need a fair amount of boons too (prot, regen, aegis) to boost your tankiness and/or some stealth to get yourself out of trouble (i.e. decoy, prestige, mass inv).

Also, by going GS/Staff setup, you loose the flexibility of using something like scepter/sword (great blocking), sword/torch (invinsible, stealth), or various other combinations. On my tank style builds, I almost always run staff and sword/X. I say X since I utilize all the offhands depending on the situation.

Thanks alot for the help, reakky appreciate it, might decide on becoming a full zerker mesmer seeing that I already have half the gear!
