What do you think about to create a global Mesmer guild?

Just for helping each other. for organisation (ranks) sthg like servernames: Whitesideridge, etc…..

I tried this a little while ago and ran into a huge brick wall. Basically everyone wants to have the guild base on their server so they don’t have to move. With transfers costing around $25, I don’t blame them. I’ve thought of doing it guesting alone but guild perks are server locked so none of the influence earned on Crystal Desert will help those on Blackgate. That fact alone has killed most of my ambition.

You missunderstand…. i created one for Organisation things. you wont have to be on the same server and you dont have to represent this guild.
For example. you are a mesmer in Whitesideridge (like me) and need help in WvW for portal bombing or golem porting thing…. then you can ask directly cause you see on your server that this person is also WvW or sthg like that.
everyone will get the same rights and and rank. i give myself the rank “whitesideridge”, others will get their server as a rank name. everyone can invite and rank the new member to the server where they are.
i wont spend any influence into that guild and noone has to do so.

Actually that makes things even more muddy. I don’t see how someone from a different server can help with WvW when the whole point of it is putting servers against each other.

You can’t guest for W3, but if you were wanting to do things like an all mesmer dungeon run, or a mesmer zerg in Orr or things like outfit contests etc, then an all mesmer guild could work as a sidebar thing. We would just guest for the special events and such. Everyone could stay in their main guilds that way, and we could still have community all mesmer events. Admittedly, the guild wouldn’t have a lot of benefits, but over time if we rotate where we did the all mesmer events or if we all guested to one server eventually the guild would have some decent benefits.

he got it =D. So just get i n the guild and youll see! but before we can organise any contest/meeting/etc we have to create a community

I’d be very interested in this just started a mes a couple days ago and hit lvl 40 yesterday, running a shatter build currently 20 in dueling and 10 in illusion character name is korgin shadowmind.
