Hi everybody !
I actually play with a friend, we wanna do wvw or pve.

My friend is mesmer, and my question is :
According to you, which one is better, a second mesmer or a thief ?
In PVE, i am afraid about tag enemies during event,
In WvW, afraid about the diversity.
Can you help me ? what’s your thought ?

For WvW, I would recommend a thief.

I’d say a thief, but you’ll have more fun with mesmer.

Thief for the stealth lulz.
Mesmer for the portal lulz.

If you synergize your builds, Thief + Mesmer combo is very effective.

As a Thief AND Mesmer, I would love to have a fellow Mesmer/Thief along which uses the exact builds I have on my toons when roaming around.
I roamed with a decent Mesmer once. 2v5 have never been that easy.
