Mesmer Minus the Illusions.

Just for fun, re imagine all Mesmer skills that are related to clones or Phantasms to variants that contain neither (but do the same basic things). Use Hexes or marks or whatever ya want.

Just try to have fun with it.

Examples:

Phase Retreat – Teleport away from your target, cause momentary confusion as your foe’s attack only strikes the air where you just were. (Confusion 2s to nearby foes)

Illusionary Leap – Leap at your target with great speed! Cripple them with a sword to the knee. (cripple for remainder of toons life)

Swap – End your leap and return to your original position, laugh as your opponent wets them self and flinches like a kitten. (Must be used before iLeap connects with foe, forces laugh emote, Daze 3s)

After a few beers.. and unrelated to clone spells..

Mantra of Pain – Cause your foe to experience one of the mesmer classes Crippling or annoying Bugs! (May cause your foe to be teleported under the floor, also works in PvE! Troll your whole dungeon group and bug out the boss monsters!)
