I made a spreadsheet that allows me to quickly compare the healing output of the different Mesmer Healing Skills with various amounts of Healing Power.
If you look at the “Healing Over Time”, it incorporates the cooldown as well as cast time. So Ether Feast would just wait for its 20s cooldown + 1s cast time while Mantra of Recovery would wait for its 10s cooldown + 2.75s cast + 1.00s cooldown between the two casts (or 10s cooldown + 2.75s cast + 1.00s + 1.00s for Harmonious Mantras due 2 cooldowns between the 3 casts)
I only gave view access to the spreadsheet, so, if you want to tweak the healing power, just copy it to your own spreadsheet.
I’ve provided comments to help explain some things like the differences between multiple rows of the same skill and to provide quick access to healing power values. I only provided those for sPvP as that was quick and easy :-p
I did this during a lull at work, so these numbers use the values currently on the GW2 Wiki:

I wonder what the healing output of Mantra of Pain on auto-cast is if it’s traited with Restorative Mantras?
I do actually do this but I’ve never run the maths on it. I get big green numbers in open world pve and that’s good enough for me.
I am thinking one more column would be good (added it quickly in a local copy), healing/casttime. This gives time-investment-efficiency, an important number when you got to figure out how much damage you’re sacrificing to keep yourself alive.
Because while MoH has basically the by-far highest healing over time, it’s healing per cast-time is rather low as you got to spend so much time casting it.

Nice thinking, I’ve added the multiple variations of Mantra of Pain w/ Restorative Mantras to the spreadsheet.
I didn’t bother adding the other Mantras as their cooldowns are so long that I don’t think it’s worth the work.

Nice thinking as well. I’ve added a column for (healing / cast time). This shows some more numbers I find interesting. I’d say it illustrates why Ether Feast is such a popular choice amongst our heals.
I’ve also added the Regeneration boon for comparison and because we have access to constant Regeneration via Phantasmal Healing as well as other sources (though I’d say Phantasmal Healing is the easiest way to get “permanent” Regeneration.
