The Mesmer Mental Anguish trait is not performing in WvW as it should after the recent patch.
Mental Anguish: Increased bonus damage to 25% base (50% vs. Inactive) in PvE only.
In WvW the trait has not been buffed and remains unchanged.
WvW is considered as PvE when making the distinction between PvP and PvE skills on other occasions.
Can anyone clarify when WvW is considered to be PvP and when it considered as PvE for me please?

Anet does have split balance for 3 game modes WvW, PvE and PvP.

But they are extremely unclear when a skill change is affected in WvW or not.

As they said PvE only, I actually expected it not to affect WvW. I also don’t necessarily think it should as I believe power block and mental anguish are fairly well balanced and imagined burden, if anything, is the weakest trait, even with increased cripple on the phantasmal berserker skill.
