Guild Wars 2

So , i bought Guild Wars 2 a few weeks ago and got my mesmer at lvl 80. Primarily i wanted to focus on PvP (which gives you equip to start with) and i really don t have any problems with it.
The thing concerning me is PvE on the normal Servers. I am lvl 80 and wanted to go for a build that relies on normal Illusions to inflict bleed and then go for a Condition dmg build without shatter (because i need my illusions to inflict bleed).
I can t really compare dmg because its my first char and i wanted to know if its viable enough to farm equip.
If its not good , whats the best go to dps mesmer build for PvE ?

There aren’t many players who play condition mesmer in pve, because of its weak tagging potential.

I would recommend either a shatter spec with at least Deceptive Evasion and Illusionary Persona or a shatter/phantasm hybrid spec where you use the Greatsword because the Phantasmal Berserker offers reasonable aoe, you should then get 5 in Illusion and 20 in Domination for the 40% cooldown reduction of Phantasmal Berserker. Of course both these specs are power based.

I think there would be a downtime if i shatter my phantasms although i rely on them as my main dmg source. Personally i don t like the shatter play style much but i may have to play it as it seems that condition does not bring enough dmg. Is it enough constant dps and comparable to other classes?
