I love my Mesmer, even though they have a massive ego and like to boast. They can outrun a centaur! after all. But I really don’t want to hear them yelling it at a crucial, intense, heart breaking moment in a personal story. It’s inappropriate and totally immersion breaking. Please remove these voiceovers from personal story instances.

I agree, although I’m a bit stumped to come up with a crucial or heartbreaking or intense moment in the personal story.

There was a nice moment in the living story, but the other ones? Not really.

The voice-overs are race based. There are a few profession specific voice-overs – but the only ones Mesmers get are for Mantra charging (and those don’t even play consistently).

I remember when I played my Sylvari Mesmer and he said, “I make a pretty good team”. I thought it was the most brilliant Mesmer specific voice-over ever (since you’re literally a team of yourself). I was disappointed to find out all Sylvari say it.

That’s pretty awesome, shame it wasn’t used as a Mesmer post-finisher taunt. “Me, Myself and I are better than you.”

I was mainly referring to “Prisoners of the Dragon” (the HOTS storyline episode) at the end. Don’t want to give away spoilers though.
