Guild Wars 2

Greetings all!

Have played mesmer since the beginning and I love it still, and just lately i have encountered a problem that has begun to annoy me a bit.

In dynamic events I have witnessed that lots of karma-grinding groups camp mob spawn points with timed AoE (Necro & elementalist AoE ground targeting and warriors & guardians spamming that seems to auto hit if a mob is within range) while im having more and more difficulty to even aquaire a target to start attacking something at all unless its a veteran/champion mob or when I i use mindstab (wich is both kind of slow to execute and limited radius of effect) since just about all attacks need to have a mob targeted to be executed at all.

So my question is, how do you fellow mesmers counter this development and do you have any tips/tricks to share?

I counter it by making a farming character, I chose a guardian since it’s fairly enjoyable to play, with pretty good AoE.

You can’t farm DEs on mesmer, they are gim ped for this. Roll another character.

Technically you can, you’re just not going to be as effective as other professions.

use mind stab, gs2 and shatter immediately to tag all mobs.

or use sword yourself, you tag everything just as a warrior would
