Mesmer bugs and trait placement issues
currently you can grab restoration illusions and mental defence which is a questionable amount of passive sustain. in addition restorative illusions is kind of the most useful trait in the trait line so your not gonna grab the focus trait or the protected phantasms. which begs the question of why it was merged to be super effective with shattered conditions and then moved down a tier?
Pretty sure restorative illusions only removes 1 condition per shatter now, not 1 per clone per shatter.

why is this master and not grandmaster?
It is 1 per shatter.

I am told it sufferered a nerf to its healing with the patch and that the slight bug with it longer appears to occur.
so far inspiration is bugging me…currently the first trait menders purity is kinda buggy (if running mantra of recovery it will prock once without HM and only twice max with HM. HM=3mantra chargetrait)
the third minor trait is kinda meh (although it was op without the cd HAHA!) mainly because in terms of hps its crap. maybe reduce the cd to 5s? or increase the healing? or remove the trait and give us back the phantasms give us regen?…i dont know it just needs work.
lastly but most importantly 2 traits are in the wrong area in terms of diversity and balance.

i think restorative illusions should be moved up a tier back to grandmaster and either temporal enchanter or illusionary inspiration should be moved down a tier. would be more balanced and open up more viable options.
currently in this new trait system and the new meta of things there are tons of buggs and balance issues such as trait placement and number scaling and polish…..so many issues

i know things are gonna be shuffled and re balanced by the time the expansion is released but i thought it worth mentioning these.

Mass invis with manipulation trait causes you to be revealed by flying projectiles extremely often
Duelist discipline does not trigger on duelist except at seemingly random times and over rides sharper images, Blinding Dissipation can not be evaded ( same with ranger trained pet taunt, Ranger pet blind un tested.
The 3rd minor chaos appears to have absolutely no affect.

Hrm not sure if this is the right spot to post it, but is anyone else getting the mantra stacking buff when they use any healing skill, so far tried it with ether feast, mirror, and signet, all of them are applying the harmonious mantra buff.

I just logged in and didn’t see anything like this. I only saw the HM buff when I used a mantra. If I used Mantra of Recovery, saw buff. Swapped to Ether Feast, no buff.
Can you describe more about what your seeing? Or the steps to create it?
Are you in Inspiration? could it be the Mender’s Purity is casting Power Return and the HM buff is triggered off that?
EDIT: Yep, thats it. Go into Inspiration for Mender’s Purity and Harmonious Mantra’s in Dueling. Mender’s executes Power Return triggering the HM buff.

Take harmonious mantra trait.. and yep it’s the inspiration doing it. Never bothered to actually read “power cleanse” was the actually skill name.
You are asking for a nerf to Inspiration. A kittening nerf to inspiration… God forbid that trait line actually be worth anything or that mesmers have an option besides PU for some survivability.
R. Illusions isn’t that great, it’s a small heal and 1 condition per shatter, it shouldn’t compete with Mental Defense. The choice between focus trait and RI is actually well balanced, they are on par: nice reflects or some extra sustain on shatter. Protected phantasms is also good there, in wvw you’d take that over RI any day. Each choice in the middle tier fits the 3 modes: reflects for pve, RI for pvp and protected phant for wvw zerging.
The swap you are suggesting is a flat out nerf to a trait line that is miraculously not garbage for the first time almost ever. Nerfing it would just encourage more ppl to go into PU for sustain, which is bad.
If anything they should buff the scaling with healing power of RI etc. in inspiration to make it more competitive with PU. Especially since most ppl know some kind of nerf to PU is at least not unlikely, nerfing inspiration is a really bad idea.

I agree with a lot of what was said above. Generally, the traits in Inspiration are pretty solid, especially in the greater context of how the line has previously been.
If I had to nitpick…
1. Add something else to Medic’s Feedback.
2. Persisting Images feels so weak. Restorative Mantras and Medic’s Feedback are very specific, I feel like this trait needs to be a more general option. Make it apply retaliation in an AoE and I’d be happy.
3. Fix the Mender’s Purity bug so it’s more reliable.
4. Reduce the nerf to Healing Prism. 500-600 health every 10s and a per-illusion healing power isn’t spectacular. I doubt kitten cooldown would be game-breaking but would go a bit further towards giving us some additional sustain.
5. I’d love a tiny tweak to Temporal Enchanter… It’s so clunky to use with skills like Feedback, which often get placed on the enemy. What if the superspeed and resistance were centered on my location instead of the glamour’s?
All in all, the line isn’t bad. The thing that still sticks out to me is: do we really have any builds that would use healing power gear? In my ideal world, each profession has at least one defensive/supportive option which rewards all that +healing gear. With mesmers how they are… it doesn’t really feel like that’s a viable option. Maybe some kind of mantra spammer will be a go-to in HoT with on-demand Quickness…

Yes, it is working as intended. If you position yourself properly you should be able to hit up to 5 targets.
