Guild Wars 2

Been thinking on how I want to play my mesmer. Thought of many possibilities, and I think I’ve finally figured out what I want. But now I’d like to ask if it’s any good for what I want to do with it.

Mesmer is going to be for WvW and a bit of PvE. The biggest trouble I had, was with the choice of weapon and traits.

What I like to achieve with this build is a mix of dps and survivability in WvW. I didn’t go all out shatter build because I find surviviability important. Also put some attention towards confusion in my traits since it seems like a fun condition to play with.

The armor I’m going for is soldier’s armor (power/toughness/vitality).

Now my question is, will my build work for WvW, and what runes and sigils would work well with this build? Any advise is welcome.

If you want survivabiltiy, check out pyroaethiests immortal mesmer build, otherwise i think seven mirrors build is for you. It has high dps (70% crit dmg/50% crit chance) with 2.8k armour and its a shatter build

I’ve taken other people’s build as “inspiritation” and example to see what i want for myself. I don’t copy people’s build very quickly. If i did, i wouldn’t have to post here.

They are great builds though, just not for me. Besides, i dont think i would need a 100% bunker mesmer when i spend a lot of time with a zerg.
