Anyone has some good build? :o

This build uses staff and sword with torch for shatter/the prestige/ blurred frenzy combo’s causing massive spike potential, this is my favoured build for solo Roaming and duelling wvw, mass invis, decoy and the prestige give you enough stealth to evade zergs too.

For direct damage this ones pretty good, the defensive abilities of staff go well with the offensive S/T set too

For 1v1 in the duelling custom arena I go with shatter… because phantasm, lockdown, and prismatic understanding are banned >__<’

If your custom arena/whatever you’re doing isn’t lame like that, just run any of the 4 offensive styles, and it’ll work for 1v1

Shatter: 0/20/0/0/30
I usually run 10/20/10/0/30, because blink is my favourite utility :P

condition: 20/20/30 AKA Blackwater Mesmer, with scepter/torch, staff

Lockdown: 30/20/20 with sword sword/staff. Berserker amulet

Phantasm: 10/10/0/25/0

They’re all a very different style, and if you find the one that fits you the most, you can pretty much do anything in pvp with it :P.

when u say as topic build for 1v1..
it comes in my mind,

• PvP mode, as gladiators Deathmatch 1v1 personal maps (duel) [organized]
• PvP mode, as casual random map where u found oportunity to make 1v1 [unorganized]
• PvP mode, as competitive match as Tpvp as a bunker(defanser point), or roamer(offense point vs their bunker or look for 2v2, 2v1 as for defans or offense help)[unorganized]
• PvE (not experianced, 1v1 vs Champ in dungeon or asdfasda ok passed) [organized]
• WvW Solo Dueling.. organized
• WvW Solo Roaming.. unorganized

o Know your enemy
o Know your self

Where knowladge is power, Self sufficient skills is best efficient..

Just as I said, they’re banned.

• Both phantasm damage traits are banned… You cant make a phantasm build without them.
• Chaotic interruption and comfounding suggestions are banned.
• prismatic undertanding is banned.
• Rabid amulet is banned for Mesmers.
• mass invis is banned.
• torch is banned.
• you cant have both decoy and blink.
• mirror images is banned.
• all elites with higher cd than 90. So basically, Mesmer cant use elites at all.
• and more stuff I cant remember.

The owner just hates Mesmers, and he wants to have an easy win vs them, so he bans everything except the ‘easiest to kill’ build, which apparrently is shatter.

The sad thing is, that out of all custom arenas, that one is the most popular because people hate Mesmers :/. The other arenas have maybe 5 people in them… If youre lucky x.x

Yea… Then again, most people dont care about pvp in general. They care about getting pixel rewards and whatnot.

And IMO, 1v1 is the most fun :/. Atleast funner than hitting a brick wall in a circle, which are bunkers.

This is … astoundingly ridiculous, to say the least. Are any of the other classes burdened with such banlists? No stealth, no damage, no conditions, no elites, no clone-generation — even shatter is crippled without Mirror Images, that’s where our burst comes from! May as well ban mesmers altogether. How sad.

That’s a fairly hilarious admission of incompetence by whomever owns that server. It should be called “Mesmers are my daddy” or something.
