Was noticing that there are more and more power shatter in pvp was just wondering why that build is becoming more popular.

Also what do you guys use for PvE in the HoT maps build wise

Though I am not much of a PvE person, I think the primary reason there’s a lot of power Mesmers because it’s perhaps one of the most satisfying builds to play. Who wouldn’t feel a little hyped up after 100-0ing an unsuspecting individual from stealth

I don’t know about other players but for me PvP power mes is mainly about being able to use GS. Also it’s simpler to play than condi. But mainly that GS, I spent too much money on GS skins not to use them

You have more sustain with Chronophantasma Shatter build but its not necessarily spike damage. Power Shatter has the high spike damage that some like to play.

You can almost play any build in ranked and do well. Meta builds exist for meta comps playing in tournaments but for ranked, it’s not mandatory.
