Mesmer how to deal condi bomber [PVP]
What build do you run exactly?
I run Sage amulet and am experimenting with my rune currently but 1v1’s are the least of my problems. But I’ve also started taking Null field to strip the Resistance off of Warriors and stab off necro’s so I can interupt them. The only time I have problems is when I start having to carry my team by 1v3’ing. Then it’s not fun. But ice successfully 1v2’ed two warriors on point and two necro’s. So it’s possible.
I used meta with carrion and scepter instead of sword for block ( sc/sh, staff) . Rune of scavenging and carrion, or sometimes rabid. I had problem only against condi warrior and condi necro … but not always .
i play with chrono, inspiration, illusion
You probably have a problem with Warrior because of their ability to stack high durations of Resistance and the fact longbow burst is bugged and cleanses 6 conditions atm. So what I do is again, swap Signet of Illusions for Null Field and once you start noticing the have resistance strip it from them. Then you force them to play more defensive and will be easier from there. You also have to watch out for their interupts but they are fairly obvious.
As for necro, you want to strip to Stab so you can interupt their heal with f3 and do a lot of kiting. If they run rise then you tend to have a lot of minion AI to deal with but focusing on the necro will kill the minions. Key thing with them is avoid standing in melee. Melee plus reaper shroud is s bad day.
There isn’t anything wrong with your build, but you just need to watch for those things.
I run power mesmer with gs/s+p. Generally I kinda let them stack their condis on me and spam my shatters to cleanse them all, basically resetting their damage. Popping your heal early for traited condi removal is an option too, most likely you’ll have the durability/tools to survive until it’s up again. Obviously you want to build some phantas/illusions prior to this to maximize your shatter impact and waiting 1-2 secs for phanta respawn and hit after first shatter is good.
It’s probably not optimal but I will happily spam my shatters off without phantas or illusions if I really need to cleanse – once you start seeing 10+ stacks of condis you are running out of options fast. I try to save my decoy/blink until after cleanse so they can’t immediately reapply them – at this point in the fight you should have taken most of their condi spam burst and your cds are basically ready to go for another round of phanta/control skills on wep.
Always remember if you run chrono/moa it is virtually impossible for a mesmer to lose a 1v1 with cd’s ready. It is a bit of a furry kitten move, but effective for sure.
Null field and Well of Eternity (with F5) is almost perma condition protections.
You can put the Glamour Trait that give resistance for more, use sigil of generosity (with rabid), use sigil of purification (remove condi on hit, not sure of the name of the sigil), use Lyssa or Leadership runes or Holbreak/Melendru/Resistance.
Shatter clear condi.
Mesmer is the most anti-condition class of the game.
Sword 3, second step reflect condies too. Arcane Thievery (subpar, but I used that to protect versus burn guards in summer 2015) is nice tech.
When the Warrior leap on you (headbutt), dodge. You will neutralize a big condi burst they have.
Another tech, would be to take chaos line for the trait that give reflection on manipulation skills (and reduce cooldown), so you take the manip heal with the rune of herald (or revenant not sure which) that give resistance on heals. With alacrity you can have a lot of resistance with that, but you loose the well of eternity for your team mate.
Kiting Warrior for Mesmer is really easy. If you kite them at 600 or more, you will be able to kill them fast.

Blurred Frenzy is Sword #2, Sword #3 is Illusionary Leap/Swap
Sorry not sitting in front of my computer. Stilquestion remains. When did that reflect anything?

I have no idea I don’t think it does but if this guy can prove then great. Not really anything you can rely on though since it’s so easily avoided.
Yeah unless of course hr is confusing traited blink for iLeap. But then that means taking Chaos and that won’t work too well. It would work but it would be a handicap
