Hey mesmerites!

I’m looking at getting into Soloq, and i have a few questions. Hopefully this thtead can help out other people as well!

1) Whats the best playstyle for a mesmer in soloq? (i.e, bunker/roamer/etc)
2) why were mesmers not used in either pax grand final teams? (Because of the condition meta?)
3) what’s a good mes tpvp build?
4) what are some mesmer tips and tricks for soloq everyone should know?

im using blackwater mesmer with undead runes and rabid amulet with carrion jewel and gotta say it works great for me. i destroyed a guardian and a warrior at the same time with it.give it a try.

I run a condition mesmer myself, and I love it. However with these builds you need mobility and stealth, which aren’t good for taking or defending points.

Alrighty I can try to answer these questions
1. There is no best playstyle, only you can decide that, whether it be shatter, interuppts, or condi.
2. No mesmers were there because of condi meta.
3. There is no best build, the only best spec is the one you like the most, basically same as answer 1.
4. There are a lot of blink spots u can use in all the maps. They can be lifesaving sometimes. Also, get comfortable with the spec you play and make sure it can be supportive and help the team. Gl!

Sensotixs bountiful interrupt spec is really good for tpvp. I would look up his spec and play around with it, as a lot of the wep sets are good. I personally run sword/sword and staff or gs depending on who im fighting, and then blink, null field, and mantra of distraction with lyssa runes but hoelbrak can work also. In team queue you can replace the mantra with signet of inspiration for sharing that much might and other fun boons.
