Mesmer nerfs after 15th patch

We did get the Empowering Mantras switch, which was a pretty big hit to the most effective PvE builds. There are workarounds now, so it’s not a huge hit, but it was still not great.
I don’t think it made the class very much worse than it already was in comparison to others, though.
While the EM switch certainly hurt PvE, it opened up some interesting build opportunities for PvP/WvW.
In a long term i wanted to use Mesmer for PVP/WvW.
I canĀ“t see how PvE would interest me the slightest.
Although this class seems to be sort of a fail pick compared to others.
It is easy to spot the “real” you and it lacks power due to fact that if you go beserker for armor, you lose a lot of crit.

Mesmer is still great for roaming in WvW, imo the best profession beating out thieves simply because most roaming thief builds don’t really stand a chance against an equally skilled mesmer. Not much changed at all about that with the patch.
If it is blob zerging you care for mesmers are still complete kitten at tagging, doing aoe/cleave damage and surviving, the patch didn’t change much at all there either.
PvP mesmers were and are middle of the pack, again patch changed little to nothing there.

I could understand you saying the survivability is low, but Berserker armor has a lot of power/crit. The damage is fine.
