Mesmer nerfs :(
If the mesmer is supposed to have the ability to create a magical construct then it doesn’t fit in the lore that he would have to be in line of sight of his target or even have any target to create one. As far as being blind goes why does he have to see to use magic. shooting a bolt of energy would miss but not a magic clone summoned from his soul itself. I thought this was a role playing game
As much as you’re technically right, this isn’t a very good argument. If I slashed someone critically with a greatsword, they aren’t getting up again. Being shot at with an arrow or bullet will at the very least prevent them from fighting. We can’t exactly put real life physics and biology in this game and expect it to be balanced. Honestly I wouldn’t even mind the LoS change if “Obstructed!” didn’t pop up so often.
