The in-game music in Guild Wars 2 is epic. But sometimes many of us listen to other tunes just to get that feeling. I want to build up a small Mesmer soundtrack that i can listen to while playing around with my Chronomancer. Maybe we can help each other and share some mesmer-like songs.
A few songs I have on my playlist when playing mesmer – not for the lyrics but more for the sounds – makes me think of mesmer mechanics, shattering, burst damage, in combat mobility, damage avoidance and so on.
I usually have a load of other stuff including GITS soundtrack, Fairy Tail soundtrack (so many kitten awesome tunes and themes), new age stuff, classical, other video game soundtracks (ie, elder scrolls, deus ex, mass effect…), ambient music and a bunch of pop/etc (ie a whole load of MJ tunes on shuffle).
I’ve been listening to Vivaldi and Handel lately while playing Mesmer. It kinda makes playing PU ( Yes I have HoT on both accounts. I just don’t like the current chrono ) feel like a combat waltz. As if it’s a kind of competitive dance.
