Does anyone have any good builds for a mesmer in a support role? The mesmer does excel at swapping boons and conditions, laying them on randomly, and other related activities. Using Signet of Inspiration lets the mesmer pass boons to party members around them, which can be nice, but random unless there’s another party member aiding by casting them on the mesmer to pass around. It seems useless, since a lot of those professions that create boons often have AoE capability already with it. Banners, shouts, wards, etc. There are shatter effects which can help, but it can also be dicey, unless allies are in the right spot at the right time. There are skills like Arcane Thievery which also helps even the boon/condition playing field, but requires a target to steal from, then Signet of Inspiration to pass the wealth around. I appreciate any insights and knowledge, since mesmer has been a challenge, but that’s why I chose it, among other reasons.

At least 15 Inspiration and 15 Chaos. Vigor on Shatter. Heal on Shatter.

Then you can either do mantra heal spam with the heal on mantra charge trait (use this with Mantra of Pain), or you can go Glamour heavy with combo fields, or a mixture of both.
