We managed to get Ema stacked to about 47 minutes of fury duration before the patch happens. I hadn’t even thought about Signet of Inspiration spam! Dear god, we could have easily put her into the multi-hour range.

Other things we do:

Alternate Into The Voids to jerk around entire parties for minutes at a time.

Chain-portal people across maps (Previously portalling people from jorm to the other side of frostgorge. RIP: Portal Trolling.)

Future Ideas:

Amassing a legion of GS mesmers in specific clusters to recreate the Love Colored Master Spark.

WvW Mesmer Troll Squad. Instant 40+ person group and/or illusion mindwrack? Yes please. Unlimited TimeWarp? Yes. All of the Yes.

Also, at some point we’ve decided that a double rainbow must happen. And, if at all possible, we must obtain the rainbow shooting legendary specifically for more rainbow goodness.

Remember Mesmers – Stay Fabulous. The game relies on us to bring the sexy back.

I’ve been part of an impromptu group that did this in Lion’s Arch on Tarnish Coast. We actually had enough dps to kill training dummies. The warrior that was within melee range of it had 25 consistent stacks of might. I can only imagine the length of fury. And there is nothing scarier than seeing 15+ mesmers shatter at the same time!

I and many other have shared similar ideas. That’s why we have started the guild, Dopplegankers. Right now there are very few of us and I let things slip because I was working on a new build. However, since we have guesting now, it’s time I went into recruitment overdrive! So far, the only rules are you have to be a mesmer and you have to represent the guild as said mesmer. I don’t care what you do on your other toons.

After the ball gets rolling, I plan on all mesmer dungeon runs maybe a few pvp bouts. We can also screw with everyone’s head in the mist wars. Can you imagine what an enemy zerg will think when they see 15+ portals in their path?

I too have had the portal express thought. I’m still trying to find out what the range is but to move a our zerg completely across the map in seconds could easily turn the tide of any battle.

Portal range is kinda sad. It’s like one zoomed-in-minimap’s distance before it expires.

For optimum portaling, you’re need to look at laying down a portal, blink+swifting forward, setting it down.

another mesmer hops through, sets their beginning portal at your end, repeats blink+swift, etc.

Pretty irritating to pull off unless you’re really coordinated!

Also, now that guesting is implemented, I can’t wait for the big mesmer get togethers we were talking about on these forums a while back.

if “representing all the time” (for the mesmer toon) is not requirement, i’d like to join

Is all this stuff actually possible?! Oh my god, that would be amazing! I’d love to see a 40+ zerg of mesmers in WvW.

EDIT: New mesmer, and player actually as well. So I have no idea what the true capabilities are of the profession, yet.
