Just showing a short clip with how Bolt looks like on a Mesmer. I haven’t seen one posted yet.

Please bear with the quality. I’m not good with vids, this is my first. lol.

Also, i noticed that the Lighting effects have a purple mix in them.

UPDATE: No videos for bolt in offhand since it’s not worth it as far as graphical enthusiasm is concern. Attached a Photo of a close up screenshot with more light.

Will test more since the game stopped for maintenance while doing my test. lol.
Will test Bolt/Focus and Bolt/Torch to see if any skills were altered.

Mainhand:
Tested with Bolt/Pistol, Bolt/Sword.

1. Lightning and Purple glow all around you and your clones, including footsteps.
2. Your clones will have the same lightning/purple glow all around them including footsteps. Phantasms will have the same normal form. No lightning glow there.
3. You will have footsteps even in stealth mode using decoy. So this is a slight disadvantage for wvw if you rely on stealth for that matter.

4. As far as I can tell, no alterations with Utility skills as well including Blink and Decoy.

Offhand:
Tested with Scepter/Bolt and Sword/Bolt.

1. You won’t see the purple Lightning glow when using it as offhand. Just white lightning. And only surrounding the sword and the footsteps. Not your whole body as oppose to having it as your main hand weapon.

2. Your clones will not have the lightning glow as well, not even the footsteps. They will use whatever is in your main hand weapon. (Range Phantasm for scepter mainhand on skill number 5.)

3. No graphical skill alteration for utility skills found.

There was oneposted but I don’t recall much fighting in it so good job on that. What I was wondering is if blink is altered, I guess not? I think this would definately be my legendary of choice (over twilight). Does it to anyhting off hand? like change block/swordsman/

Yeah, I’d like to second that request. Can we get a video showing it in the offhand? I’m a big fan of Scepter/Sword, but I don’t think you get all the effects when you use it in the offhand.

ok, i’ll try to post a vid of it in off hand with offhand skills and blink as well. Haven’t tested it in offhand yet actually.

Thanks for putting this up. I’ve been trying to decide if I wanted to go for this legendary or not for my mesmer. If you do have time to create another video, can you add in some day time play as well, or just a little brighter in lighting?

I’m glad you are active in the video as it let many of us see what it would look like for a mesmer in action. Some close ups and putting it on the offhand is a great suggestion too.

That looks pretty awesome!! But my heart still lies with The Bifrost… i shall have it one day….
