-no matter how any of this sounds I truly do thank arena net for their hard work and realize it’s probably very hard to run an MMO and try to keep everyone happy-

I have no hate for Arena net, and with all the mes bugs I don’t even really complain, gives me an excuse to try other games for a bit while waiting for that fateful text via twitter from A-net with updates stating this has been fixed, or something that makes things less frustrating.

Now I haven’t logged in to see or test any of the complaints from the most recent update as of posting, however I still read the forums from time to time.

But my question is: (Directed to the testing staff) you say that there is heavy testing that goes into new builds and changes before they are launched. However I do not understand how we keep ending up with different problems from the solutions. I’m not asking in any critical/offensive/judgemental/or any form of ‘butt hurt criticism’ sort of way just knowledge seeking. and I as well as the majority of the community understand that other things may also need work and your attention. But what exactly are your testing methods for class skills? And is there something lacking? Maybe Recourses? Or Time? If there is such high level testing going on before said builds how do these issues not get noticed before hand?

In some cases like the recent change to staff 2 putting us off points and giving us less control of the skill is it more seen as “good enough for now, get back to it later if ever” or just put into a queue priority list? Or drop it into the “working as intended guys l2p and adapt” box?

If you do not feel the current method of testing is adequate do you have any plans to increase how accurate to both the meta and balance between class’s are when taking builds and bug fixes into account?

I get that “the community helps” by posting about things but isn’t that a very slow process when you consider other things that need more long term attention?

Personal opinion (I’m no developer so feel free to disregard due to blatant ignorance):
Numbers and balance aside wouldn’t it be better/more efficient to get all weapon skills, tool tips, and traits working as intended for all classes as the first priority finished ASAP? Then being able to tweak numbers for balance while working on content?

TL;DR: if you are not a developer don’t bother.

TB;DR(busy): What are your exact methods of testing class skills, and their effect in the meta when doing bug fixes? Also How do so many problems spring up from your current fixes?

A very easy answer to this,,,,,,

When they test it, they can only test it with a few people.

Then when it goes live the new system have thousands upon thousands of people doing it and so since they could not test it for stress test with only a few.

They cant predict or tell if a bug will happen from all the stress on it.
