Anyone else find it funny how our leap(swap) weapon does meh for burst, and costs us committing with a defensive cooldown to squeeze out that extra bit of dmg, only to often not be worth it. While our best power melee burst weapon is a long ranged weapon with meh damage at range, little defense, and often paired with a 30 sec utility to achieve the damage as efficiently of any other burst? (thief, guard, etc.)

Might be a bit strong, but I think Mindstab could be redesigned as a gap closer, in such a way that it does not interrupt casting (for mirror blade combos) but allow it to be the main set up for burst, without having to waste your blink to be aggressive.

Perhaps for fairness, only allowing it to function as such, making it so it has to actually hit a target, to blink to them. (always teleport to center of AoE circle as long as a target is hit)

GS is designed to keep targets away from you. That’s why skill 5 is a knockback, not a pull!

Also, if skill 3 was a gap closer, it would need a much longer CD, or a much shorter range. Either way, it wouldn’t work because GS, again, is suppose to do more damage from range, so a gap closer defeats the whole purpose of the weapon.

The weapon still has flaws though. Skill 2 works better up close because the bounce can hit clones and only works within 600 range. The AA does more damage if you stop the cast before it finishes (seriously, why hasn’t this been changed?), and the trait is crap for a GM.
