Mind stab
The AoE range might not be huge, but it’s still good to use here and there in a crowd of mobs or to remove a buff(if you don’t want to get close with a sword or doesn’t have the trait). I like the current state of the skill, though I kinda wish the range was a little bigger.
Short answer: Use it on mobs.
Damage needs to be increased and/or allow us to move while casting it.
Its size needs to be increased and then its damage or its added effect need to be improved.
Mind stab is lacking but I guess they were careful since it’s a pretty short cd aoe (even if tiny) buff removal. At least it doesn’t lock you in place for half a year now.
Half the time I use the skill, I do so expecting it to inflict vulnerability. I’m always disappointed when it doesn’t. Did it do that during beta? Maybe that would help it out a bit more.
I’d like it to be a combo blast finisher. That would be so nice.

i think that would be a little op, since GS already has a projectile and whirl finisher. but they should make it transfer the boon to you instead of just stripping it.
I think the whirl finisher from berserker is quite unreliable. Just look at the guardian GS which has 2 whirl finishers much more reliable than our berserker, a leap and the weapon itself can create a field. I would trade the damage or even the boon stripping for a blast finisher on a viable weapon any day (not really liking the torch which is our only blast finisher option). I guess that won’t happen anyway as we’re more getting nerfs than buff, but I can still hope.

This and only this. If they let MS as trashy as it is, GS pretty much has 4 skills instead of 5.
I really liked when it was a daze in beta. But since it’s not very likely to revert back, I’d like to see a larger AOE, personally. Maybe a bit more damage.

if Anet leaves MS “as-is”, then I wish they would make it “on target” instead of “ground targeting”. It’s not big enough of an AoE to warrant some type of strategic placement. It’s just a waste of time trying to mouse that tiny reticule around in combat.
The boon removal is nice, but it takes a lot of time to set this up to hit accounting for lag and movement. In sPVP or WvW, I still try and use it, but it’s extremely difficult. I would love it got changed to on-target.
I’d kill for a (reliable) blast finisher. Bump the cooldown up a bit, and we’re good to go.
Or make it a trait for having the Greatsword (in lieu of the 50 power)
We are already short on skills that can be used without a target, so I think it needs to remain GT (either that, or we’ll start having to look into GT phantasms). However, because of this, it needs it’s area increased, as currently it’s far too unreliable to land in the heat of combat.
The quick and logic fix to this problem is remove the ground target (which is a very small one anyways) and make it an auto target skill and everyone knows that even the non-common gamers. And it should actually apply conditions instead of removing a boon, like 5 stacks of bleed or 3s of weakened or 2s of immobilize. Or how about making it transfer one of your conditions to foes and steal a boon from them.
I use it but it took a lot of getting used to. I look at it as that extra bit of damage in my rotation – if I miss its not a big deal, but more often than not I hit. A bigger area wouldn’t hurt, but it refreshes so often it could easily become too much. Still I never said no to a buff ….
Mind stab = skill that leaves us rooted to make a ridiculous damage, clap Anet
