Mirror blade change
You probably had autocast on spatial surge before but recently toggled it off. Having autocast allows you to interrupt the autoattack with a skill like mirrorblade.
If you would like to keep autocast off then you may need to manually stow your weapon prior to casting mirrorblade if you were in the middle of autoattacking, a behavior which has existed as long as I can remember.
I personally have not noticed any recent change to the responsiveness in any regard.
Before Anet changed it, you would be able to cast Blurred Frenzy → weapon swap. This would cause your character to actually cast Mirror Blade with a Blurred Frenzy animation.
Now they gave Mirror Blade a precast, which is the worst fix one could ever imagine. Its like when your car lock is broken, so you install a padlock on it like Mr. Bean did.
Non-competative gamers won’t notice. If only Anet came to these forums…
You may need to strafe/wiggle around a bit before or after weapon swapping, similar to the more pronounced responsiveness issue with GS 3.

I don’t think theres any doubt. Try it yourself. If you weapon swap and immediately cast mirror blade, nothing will happen.
A hidden change once again.
I’m not noticing anything out of the ordinary.
I would suggest posting, or perhaps playing around with, your combat/movement settings under General Options. There is a recent bug regarding skill retargeting and stomps and you may be experiencing something related to the new settings.
Will try, not expecting results tough. I’m 99,9% sure this was just some hidden hotfix.
The pre cast is there for B.F. I notice…it’s like a pause….AND then I start swinging. At firs I thought it was me and now. I know for certain.
This game is so trash…but I am stuck with it.
Why do they do stupid ish like this? Why?

I think its because the current developers simply don’t know how to properly fix it, so they just add a precast instead of repairing the code. Wait… I don’t think this, I’m kinda sure that its true.
