While sparring against the Mesmer NPC in heart of the mists, it hit me with Moa Morph while my Mirror Blade was in the air. This caused my clone to spawn as a moa! Unlike normal clones, the moa dealt full damage with its attacks (upwards of 3k in Power builds).

But what’s even more interesting is that this suggests that clones use whatever bundle the Mesmer is using at the moment they’re created. What happens if you switch to other weird bundles while your mirror blade is in the air?

I’ve created clones while holding environment weapons in PvE using the dodge trait and they came out with no weapon and started throwing something that looked like the scepter attack.

I think clones created in other forms/bundles are set to cause full damage because the battle suit from the “air drop” mission give full damage clones too,its funny to see the triple shoop da whoop…and its probably a bug.

I replicated this effect with the human elite Melandru’s Avatar. The clone spawned as a Melandru Avatar, but did nothing.

During one of the Sylvari personal story missions you wield a greatsword as part of the story with it’s own unique set of skills, clones summoned also wield that sword and spam the ranged attack on it.
