Summoning iWarden while you are blinded?

Summoning iWarden and your opponent rolls?

Hope you weren’t relying on that iWarden to reflect that projectile storm headed your way because now you have to wait for the cooldown to try again?

Is this a bug or something because as far as I know this doesn’t happen to any other Phantasm. For everyone else if you click that button they will at generally appear as long as they are in sight and within range, and if the opponent rolls he just dodges the phantasm’s attack unlike iWarden where if your opponent rolls when you summon him your opponent apparently dodges the entire summoning technique.

iwarden is a nice phantasm he has limitations, personally I like where its at. Mobility issues and the stuff you mentioned balance him out.

That happens with a lot of the phantasms. Cast one when you’re slightly out of range and it just goes on cooldown too. That’s an especially goofy one. Just don’t let me cast the spell if I’m out of range.

I wish iwarden was either ground targeted, so I could decide where to place it for projectile deflection/traited reflection since it currently tends to spawn behind or to the side of the target itself, so once the enemy moves away from it, iwarden becomes worthless unless I run over to it’s bubble.

It’d also be nice if it ignored obstructions like iberserker does because it’s too inaccurate to use iwarden on walls in WvW since it’s almost always obstructed. I usually end up having to use t-curtain and hope it pulls someone close enough to the edge for the cast not to be obstructed, or I have to cast it on some siege weapons that are hanging off of the edge of a keep.
