Hi all
I m running shatter dps mesmer build with GS sw/focus or sw/pistol.

I really like those weapons (i should add Sw/sw) and for some reasons i don t like staff/scepter.

Seems i have some surviving issue in difficult dungeons…
Maybe (just in part) due to recent lag, but parts like lupicus, or fotm 30+ (and www) gives me some problems…

I m getting close to get ascended earrings so before getting the wrong one i’d like some suggestions.

Should i keep all zerker equip and try to adapt to lag, or can i make life a little easier just getting “all stats” accessories or some defense for them?

I think a little bit more survivability would help :| me not get oneshot etc….but i may be wrong….

(i want to say i have all ascended rings available in case of need :| but i already bought zerker amulet and i ll need time to replace it if needed)

First of all your not gonne fix your lag with a change in gear. And in order to dodge attacks decently you need to fix that first.

About your gear. Well if you are experienced with a fight and run it with people you are familiar with you can use full berserker gear. However in a PuG or when your not 100% sure what the boss does I would change some gear parts to Knights or Soldiers.

Easiest thing for mesmer is keep your accessories full berserker. And obtain a 2nd armor set with Knights and Soldiers. Start with swapping out 3 berserker pieces and try. Depending on your build / experience you may wanne swap out some more pieces or a bit less.

I would take all acended rings, accessories and amulet Berserker. As it will take you a long time to obtain a 2nd set of these. And I haven’t seen many mesmers that were running lupicus multiple times. That didn’t have enough survivability with for example full Knights armor.

If you are not rich, it would be perfectly fine to get knights/soldier rares, or even masterwork until you learn the dungeon, but keep exotics/ascended for your berserkers.

However, depending on your playstyle/role, knights/soldiers might be preferable anyway, especially in wvw if you want to play a survival/harasser build. In that case, get knights/soldier as your best gear. If you want to play DPS, definitely go zerkers, though.

But do people play high lvl fotm in full glass cannon?

More importantly do they run shatter builds.
