Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing with both shatter builds and phantasm builds, yet now I want to take up lockdown. I’ve read some of the lockdown builds here online, but I’m not sure which one would be best to start with, or how I learn the playstyle.

Could you help me out?
(most comfortable with swords, pistol and focus, but I’m willing to try something new.)

Well you first wanna figure out what kind of lockdown you wanna do. Hard CC via dazes/stuns or soft CC with chills, cripple, blind, ect? I’d advise starting with either:

- Mind Crush (Dazes and stuns utilizing both shatters AND phantasms)

or

- Phantasmic Interruptions ( More interrupt-based with lockdown from soft CC such as immobilizes)

Either one of those make good templates for forging your own lockdown build.
