I would like to maximise dps output while still able to take the restorative mantra to help with some aoe healing. I would like a take on how would others spec for a build like this.

Looks solid to me, I would probably change Domination VII to X, if you want to maximize dps though unless you are planning on mainly using Sword.

You cant maximize dps and still heal. Any time spent healing is time wasted in terms of dps :P

I recommed Pyro’s supporting phantasm build

It has decent survivanility, high dps and mantra heals. You can swap some defensive armor for berserker if you like.

yeah VII to X sound good. I plan on using VII as sometimes some mob need their boons rip so that just situational.

I just mean pull as much dps and still be able to heal XD. Since i like to help support a bit in combat and since phantasm mesmer have phantasm dealing the dps i think the main mesmer can help with some support.

I would also replace Signet of Illusions with Signet of Inspiration. Sharing means caring.
But utility skills should be replaced depending on situation anyway…

If you wanted to run dungeons though, just swap the master inspiration trait for warden’s feedback.

Huh, I thought the 30 points in domination was for mantra-related traits, didn’t actually check what the traits were. Dungeon mesmers use mantras at Lupicus and go 30/30/0/0/10 so I just assumed all the traiting came from those lines.

Can’t really think of anything to change with the build then within the boundaries set by the OP.

You don’t really need the triple-cast mantras trait – in fact, if you’re using MoP for healing it actually reduces your healing output (since you have to cast it one more time before you can channel it again for the heal).

I’d suggest dropping 20 points from Domination and instead going 10/30/0/30/0 – picking up Blade Training, Empowering Mantras (since you have mantras anyway, why not use them for bonus DPS as well? 8% more damage is nothing to sneeze at) and Warden’s Feedback (traited focus is essential in dungeons and fractals).

Skills-wise, I’ll also suggest swapping the signet of illusions for Inspiration (more boon-sharing), or Feedback/NullField/third mantra for more DPS depending on your situation. Assuming the rumored patch notes are accurate, the stability and condi removal mantras will affect allies too in the next patch, making them very strong options.

Incidentally, this ends up being the same trait allocation as my own current build, I just use Duelist’s Discipline and Glamor cooldowns instead of the mantra-related traits. (or Medic’s Feedback, love that trait.)

True story. Shame on me, have not played a healing specc in ages.

In fact you can just use any phantasm specc (inspiration 25+) and adapt the healing trait if needed/wanted.

What Valarauka said is true, better skip the three mantra charges. That trait has a bad location and is only used for mantra burst builds.

10/30/0/30/0 is a phantasms bunker + support build, which I also use right now. The only real issue are the last 10 points in Dueling. They are nice for prec/ crit/ bleed and vigor, but what to put in that last slot?
- Deceptive Evasion is “bad” for phantasm builds.
- Empowering Mantras doesn’t work on phantasms (need to test this again)

That pretty much leaves (I), (II), and (IV) in a grandmaster slot … Well, if I find a satisfying solution I’ll post it, but for now I use DE since I’m collecting staff kills and I used EMantras when I used GS.

But for the first two slots I can recommend either FarReaching Manipulations (I), simply for blink or BladeTraining for the sword. Since I already have 60~75% crit, I don’t think phantasm fury will change much. Maybe I’ll think differently one day. And the mantra CD trait is important for your healing mantra.

And as Valarauka said, the grandmasterslot from inspiration is the perfect place for focus trait.

Mantras’ AoE abilities were not in the “rumored leaked patchnotes”, but in an official statement in this forum for the Oct 16th changes. At least for CleanMantra and StabilityMantra.
