So I want to try and play along with the newly patched mesmer, which seems to be in favor of interrupt’s. Now I’ve been playing 0/30/20/20/0 for a bit(playing kind of supportive, using phantasms for heal’s and reflects). Seeing as I was playing support, I really shouldn’t be surprised I wasn’t doing much damage before I got my phantasms up, so quickness on interrupt seemed a little silly.

I want to use an interrupt build that can do a bit of DPS. I see so many shatterspamzorz running around, and I outright refuse to do DPS that way, as it seems so boring…

So I guess my point is I want an interrupt heavy DPS build, yet at the same time remain offensive on phantasms

The thing with Mesmer builds… When we specialize we do that specialty very well. Trying to do interrupt and high phantasm damage… Just isn’t the greatest thing you could do. I would say if you want interrupt do 0/20/20/0/30 with imbued diversion over iPersona… In team fights I imagine that would be godly. Just food for thought buddy

I guess i’ll try that out… Any recommendations as to what gear I am supposed to be using for this? Precision heavy? Or rather what weapons to use with it? It seems to focus a lot on condition damage is all I am saying, which I am not carrying a lot of. Probably Scepter is the only one on my build at the moment.

Nah Go power/prec/crit damage… If you play it right you will have enough interrupts to get 15stacks of might… This is against players. Against mobs. It is harder also with 0/20/20/0/30 you have shattered strength which=MORE MIGHT! I suggest using runes of Hoelbrak for-20% condi duration and then lemongrass poultry soup….
