Hello my fellow mesmers. I came after a while back to gw2 made some researches and couldnt kind of decide what is the best after trying few builds etz. So I want to listen to your opinions what meta is currently the killing machine in SPVP .
I used to play phantasmal build and confusion stacker ( before the nerf ).
And how is the state of mesmer atm since I see lots of players saying it has gotten worse ( Pvp wise)

The only reason mesmer sees play is because of the stacking classes rule and portal/moa.
You can use this build here http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Chronomancer_-_Chronophantasma_Shatter but you won’t accomplish much unless you have a premade team with teamspeak.

Thanks for advice mate. But got a question there why chrono spec / shield over a sword offhand and a focus? Just curious.

Shield is currently our best off-hand. It has strong CC (2 AOE stuns), decent damage (shield 5 is actually fairly strong), and good defense (shield 4 double block).

On the other hand, sword off-hand and focus are two of our weakest weapons, imho. Torch is good for stealth and pistol does bring decent damaging pressure (in particular if you take duelist’ discipline in your condi build).

So the chrono shatterer is a thing in spvp atm I see. I used to combine the focus with the sigil for 3 sec stun so my 5th skill usualy popped all its damage and thats like 6-7k with a berserker amulet and phantasm spec and the gravity pull is realy great against nasty backstabing thiefs.

Ive been playing a condi shatter build like i used to in the ol days , is pretty successful. I think people forgot how to play against it. Just bring a lot of clears, i been using the 3 mantra, shatter clear and menders purity. pretty hard to condi bomb me. Necro’s are just face roll now though, you don’t even need any skill to play anymore. I like the challenge!
