New Mesmer need help
Mesmer is neat in that you can use whatever weapon sets you’d like to great effect. I personally use a staff + sword/focus to sacrafice damage for utility and survivability, but you can use almost any set you want, which is great.
Now, if you’re someone who wants what is best, and not what is good, you want to be running a shatter build. There’s several guides, the two best/most famous are probably Osicat’s and Kai’s. They both give you a good rundown of what to use, and how to use it, so I’d recommend look them up.
As for your specifics, you’re not using the right weapons for the stats you have. Staff is a condition/defensive weapon, its not really great for a power/crit/prec spec. So if you’re running a power/prec/crit spec, you really should be running a greatsword. The ibserker is top tier among our phantasms right now, and mirror blade will help you hit like a truck when you mind wrack. If you keep the sword/pistol weapon swap, you can also do the classic (blink or sword #3 teleport)/blurred frenzy/mind wrack combo for hefty spike damage. So if you do go this route, you want to aim for 20/20/0/0/30, grabbing GS cooldown, deceptive evasion, and illusionary persona. But again, all that would be covered in the guides I mentioned.
But if you do want to keep the staff as your main weapon, you should use it in a more defensive setup- glamour builds, mantras, conditions, that sort of thing. You can use it as a backup weapon for a shatter build too (phase retreat can be used while you summon iwarlock, so you can get 2 shatter fodder up quickly during greatsword cooldowns), so you sort of have to decide exactly how you want to play before making your build.
Luckily for us, a good pve build can perform well in WvW with only minor adjustments, so worry about that transition after you have made your playstyle choice.
I’ve kinda given a brief overview of the different specs, but if you want more feedback, give some more specifics like what kind of playstyle you want, if you want specific traits, different setups for WvW/sPvP, etc., and I (and the many other mesmers here) would be happy to help you out with advice
Edit: Just for clarification, the weapon sets you are using are indeed good choices for a condition or other defensive build, just not a glass cannon build. Both are viable specs in pve, though condition builds are NOT good at farming and are much slower in dungeons (though considerably safer). Glass cannons are more than viable in every format in every situation, you just need the right weapons to maximize your effectiveness

Thanks for the answer, i have readed those guides and they are both great, i think ill go for gs + sword/focus , berserker armor, traits 20/20/0/0/30 , took them from Kai’s guide, well im not defensive type even if im “mage” i like to run first and hit everything >.< i think i chosed wrong class xD but i like it and if u could tell me if this set is good (armor+weapons+traits) then ill start to collect mats to craft them :>
I wouldn’t say you chose the wrong class, more that it seems you’re looking for a traditional warrior-style build where you can just run up to everything, tank everything, and beat the crap out of everything. You’re going to be squishy as a mesmer, especially with a glass cannon setup like that, but the class’s in-combat mobility is fantastic and should serve you well to keep you alive well enough while you beat things down from a distance.
The setup you chose is fine. You might have some issues staying alive at first since you’re going to have no toughness or vitality, but that will just come through experience and learning to work with your utility skills. I highly recommend you take at least 2 defensive utilities until you get the hang of using the rest of your build- Illusionary Persona is difficult to get used to, and Blurred Frenzy roots you while you’re invulnerable, so you need time to adjust.
Specifically, I think you should run Decoy and Blink. Decoy is just an amazing skill in any format, and Blink will help you get out of melee range/get out of an aoe, even if you’re stunned. The cooldown could probably use a little reduction, but it’ll save your life while you get accustomed to the setup. Once you’re comfortable with your new setup, you can drop Blink for something more offensively helpful (Signet of Illusions’ active ability will recharge your shatters, which helps get rid of downtime (and recharges Distortion, which is a lifesaver on a long cooldown).
Other than that, looks good. Hope you have fun with your new build

I Just want to point out that Staff is a fantastic wep for Precision, power crit build in my oppinion. Its used for the utility and superb defensive abilitys. Dont do the misstake and beleve you not shoud use the staff unless you go condition.
It also one of the best mobility weps we have and together with rune of air its easy to move over long distances fast using a staff and blink. Its also one of the best defenses versus thiefs we have.
Have a lok in my guide if you like. Fully precision, crit dmg and power build with some knight and valkyre.
