I am almost at 80 and up until now I have been using zerker armor for everything and have been doing Ok. I’m wondering what the general consensus is on Viper armor and is it good for a Mesmer over assassin or zerker.

Viper and Zerker are very different, Viper is for condi builds while Zerker is for power builds.

Anyhow, Viper currently is bugged and the condition duration just doesn’t work. Go with sinister if you want glass condi

I tested Viper in the HotM this week, and found that the Expertise was working.

I cannot verify this in PvE, however.
