Guild Wars 2

I’m very new to GW2 and I am trying to decide which class to pick. I would like to get your adivce on what would be the best class for PvP? I will appreciate any help.

All the classes are viable for PvP but from my experience ranger and mesmer are the most effective, warrior being the least effective.
