Null field change?
I think its curing your clones/phantasms instead of you, or counting your clones/phantasms in its pulses.

It was nerfed a long time ago, now it removes one condition and boon from all respective targets in the area of effect every second.
It’d be nice if the tooltip for this were changed sometime soon since I remember first slotting this skill and being confused by its actual behavior.

Yeah, it’s been this way for a while now. With all the boons out there these days, it’s probably time for them to up the boon/condition stripping some, perhaps trying 2 per pulse or something like that.

Unfortunately it’s a victim of the horrid tooltips on skills. There are tons of Mesmer skills with inaccurate tooltips, and I’ll never understand why. It has to LITERALLY be the easiest thing to update in the entire game.

Well the tool tip actually use to be correct
It removes one condition (or boon, from enemy) every pulse.
So if you can stay all the duration of Null inside the field it’s a 7 condition cleanse (or 7 boon strip).
Good thing is that you can extend the duration of Glam fields (including null) with proper trait, for moar condition/boon removal.
(i’m typing without checking wiki, based on memory, so might have said something inaccurate :p )

Thy said they’re working on a system that automatically makes the tooltips match the actual function of the skill, at least when it comes to raw numbers. But well, they say so much...
Well what I am saying the tool tip was correct a few months ago.. null field, the last time I used it would strip all the boons and conditions… instantly. There was not a tick needed. It is incorrect now and null field now makes you wait ticks to remove conditions/boons… This is new. I guess as Nordic stated it was changed sometime ago.. I guess 2-3 months since it has been about that long since I have used it.

I don’t recall it ever doing this. I remember it would strip 2-3 conditions per pulse, but that was about it. If you’ve ever been against a condi-necro, null field isn’t superbly fast.

iirc it has ALWAYS stripped 1 condition/boon per pulse, since the headstart.
I don’t have video proof and maybe it was 3 before and not all of them— I could be wrong on that part— but I can promise you it was more than 1 per tick.
I’ve been here since bwe2 and I can attest that, at one point, it did remove all at once. I don’t mind the change though. I find that the present version is highly effective against enemies that constantly reapply boons/conditions so it’s a decent trade off.

it was in beta then, because since the game was released, it has always been 1 boon/condition per pulse
