I’ve been away from the game for about 6 months and I’m honestly completely lost. I log in to a destroyed Lion’s Arch (don’t even know what the new hub city is now) and a completely redone Trait System.

Regarding the new traits: I’ve always enjoyed Greatsword in PvE (with Sword/Pistol backup). I know it’s not the most effective or the highest DPS but I enjoy the playstyle of a Greatsword.

I was wondering if anyone could clue me in on some decent Greatsword and Sword/Pistol builds in this new system.

I’m not really an expert on Builds, but in case you missed it – our Greatsword now has two Sigil slots & Sigils mechanics have been changed slightly (see Games Release Notes).

This may change some builds that you find written before April 15th.

Also, the traits haven’t changed too much really, other than new GM traits. They just count by 5’s now.

So, if you had a build you liked before while running GS, it’ll most likely still work fine.
