Hi.

I usualy dont post about sPvP or tPvP, mostly cause there is ppl who is alot better on general cap points and stand in circle of glory. But I get alot of questions about what build I run in hotjoin so felt I might aswell post it. Hate it or love it, up to you but feel free to post any feedback.

I do not run condi in sPvP, mostly due to everyone and their mother focus on condition mitigation and its hard to burst. Also the silly setup GW2 spvp with 1 game mode = “stand in cirkle”, is not wery good for PU condi if enemy not fight back but only heal and defend.

Note this setup is not a tPvP build, its a hotjoin build with goal to have maximum amount of fun. It have wery good dmg and are forgiving for fkups due to high lvl of survival.

PS Al opinions I post in this post is my own, I sure some ppl dissagree and love the sPvP setup etc, I can only talk for my own thoughts.

awesome build / vid as always Osi, looks a lot like what i use to roam in wvw. The main issue that i have is in domination, picking between mind wrack damage , illusion damage, halting strike and cleansing conflageration. It’s something im still testing but the build feels quite strong .

Very similar to my WvW build, except:

1. I really prefer Sword to be paired with Torch.

2. Menders purity > Torch traits for me.

@Alanis, I mixed around several time Sword/torch/-Wand/pistol and Wand/torch – sword/pistol. Reason I stick to thsi setup in the end is 2 major reasons.

1- I like to start with Torch invis, swap to pistol/sword, summon pistol phantasm sword leap and blade flurry to land a Blast+pistol phantasm + blurred at same time.

2- I feel I by this setup have 1 defensive swap 1 offensive, alot like how I like the old shatetr cat builds to be. I also always have 1 long range hiter (wand or pistol) if my target is getting away with low hp.

Just my reasons, but I like both setups.

Interesting sigil choices.

Sw/T is a lot of fun to set up a burst, but I’ve always had trouble choosing the swap set.

At the moment I’m on Sc/Sw, although it lacks that extra ranged potential of the OH pistol. Never been a huge fan of the pistol from a style perspective, but I can see its use here.
