Q:

So, i’ve noticed if you are out of range and use mirror blade or Phant.Berserker the illusions do not spawn and the spell goes on cool down, is this working as intended? I don’t think myself that it’s fair for it to work like this… Thoughts?

Super annoying with Sword 3.

its kind of player skill mechanic, you need to think before acting, not spam the button till you get into range its like this with all abilities, not just illusions

Half of the time, sword 3 skill does nothing and goes on CD even when you ARE in range…

Always worked for me in range. Make sure there’s no red line below the skill, that means you’re in range. Red line = too far. It must be cast when you’re in range as the clone get out as soon as you press the button.

Always worked for me in range. Make sure there’s no red line below the skill, that means you’re in range. Red line = too far. It must be cast when you’re in range as the clone get out as soon as you press the button.

After all this time, I actually did not know that about the red line. I’ll have to pay more attention to it now.

It’s mostly working as intended.

The part that bothers me is that GS2 does a LOS check at the beginning (and end) of the cast, whereas pretty much every other ability in the game only checks at the end.

Pretty silly.
